bardsley: A colorful baby unicorn sits in the rain. (Unico: In the Rain)
This book was just about everything that I wanted in the end of a trilogy. It was well worth spending weeks on the library waitlist for.

If you are interested in queer romance and crime thrillers set in England after World War I, check out the Will Darling Adventures.

Cornell Collins' narration was nuanced and flawless.

[spoilers] I was somewhat cross with Kim at the end of book two. However, the relationship turned around in the most interesting way. During the interim between books two and three, Kim did a lot of work on himself. Then Will had to play catch up. I found it lovely.

After a resolution in book two, book three introduces a new and interesting villain.

I felt like the resolution at the climax of the book relied a bit too much on the bad guys being dumb but I like other things about the book enough to forgive it. [/spoilers]
